Inside the Hao Yue Xuan lounge, Leng Mohan was holding a glass, chatting with others, yet his eyes flickered toward his phone from time to time. It hadn’t rung for ages; perhaps he was just overthinking it.

Setting his glass down, his peripheral vision suddenly caught sight of the chair Lin Yan had just occupied. His expression changed instantly, and he grabbed his phone and dashed outside.

"Mozi, where are you going?" someone called out from behind him.

"To find my wife," Leng Mohan tossed back, striding out.

Behind him, someone laughed, "Those two are truly inseparable. Even when his wife goes to the restroom, he has to follow."

As Leng Mohan stepped out, he happened to see a man with slightly yellowish hair holding Lin Yan by the shoulders, speaking to her with a gentle expression. Lin Yan, with a faint blush, lowered her head and said something before heading toward the restroom, draped in a man's suit jacket.

Leng Mohan’s eyes narrowed. He didn't approach immediately, waiting until Lin Yan had entered the restroom before walking over with a smile that failed to reach his eyes.

"President Su, what a coincidence to run into you here," Leng Mohan said, extending his hand.

"Greetings, President Leng," the man addressed as President Su replied, smiling as he shook Leng Mohan’s hand.

Their hands met only briefly before parting.

"Are you headed to the restroom, President Leng? Please, go ahead. I need to go buy something for a friend," Su Luoheng said with a smile, turning to leave.

"Are you buying sanitary napkins?" Leng Mohan asked indifferently.

Nearby, women who had just exited the restroom all turned to look at them. Su Luoheng had truly not expected Leng Mohan to utter such a word in front of so many people. While it wasn't enough to make him hang his head in shame, it was certainly awkward.

"Yan is my wife; I should be the one buying them. As for your suit jacket, it’s likely stained now. If I’m not mistaken, it’s a new Gucci model. I’ll have someone send you a replacement once they are in stock in a few days. Leave your size."

Leng Mohan took out a pen, ready to note it down, only for Su Luoheng to say coolly, "That won't be necessary."

He watched as Su Luoheng turned and walked away.

Leng Mohan stood outside the restroom for a moment, staring at his phone for a long time. Lin Yan hadn’t called him once, and he felt a surge of irritation. Would she really rather have a stranger buy her sanitary napkins than call him?

He turned and headed toward the small convenience store inside Anran Residence.

In the restroom, Lin Yan had tried to wipe the stain with the small pack of tissues she carried, but her pants were still heavily soiled. She was wearing white trousers today, and the large, vivid red patch on the back looked truly startling.

She stood in the stall, at a loss for what to do. Her fingers hovered over her phone’s keypad, wanting to call Leng Mohan but not knowing how to explain the situation.

She stared blankly at the phone for a long time when, suddenly, it began to play an old, classic tune: "As time flows away, I only care about you; I am willing to be infected by your breath. How many chances in life are there to find a soulmate..."

In the quiet restroom, the song echoed. Lin Yan was startled, nearly dropping her phone. She fumbled to answer it, and Leng Mohan’s voice came through. "Are you done?"

"Uh, well, I..." Lin Yan didn't know what to say.

"I’ve asked someone to bring some sanitary napkins in for you, though you won't be able to change those pants for now," Leng Mohan said from outside, sounding slightly amused.

Lin Yan was speechless.
