Jiang Yun emerged from the pool for the second time, already soaked from falling in twice.

He stormed ashore with a scowl.

The director called out, “Ready, everyone, on your marks!”

“No way! Change the player!” Jiang Yun shook his head repeatedly. “I’m not sitting anymore, no matter what!”

“Ha ha ha!”

“Goose, goose, goose!”

Laughter erupted, sounding like the honking of geese.

Wang Fengwan looked at Jiang Yun awkwardly. “Is it really that bad?”

“Ren Xing, you go!” Jiang Yun said.

“I’m not sitting!” Ren Xing shook his head firmly.

Jiang Yun placed his hands on his hips. “Come on, we’re on the same team!”

“Uh-uh-uh!” Ren Xing shook his head even more desperately.

“I’m giving you a chance to be on camera!” Jiang Yun coaxed.

“Alright, fine.”

Jiang Yun rolled his eyes; just the offer of being on camera was enough to sway Ren Xing.

So, Jiang Yun and Ren Xing swapped places.

Ren Xing sat nervously on the flying chair.

Zheng Kai and Li You were just as tense.

“Starting now, get ready!” the director shouted. “On your marks! Go!”

“One!”

Wang Fengwan quickly crouched.

“Two!”

Yang Ying and Zhu Yin crouched.

“Three!”

All three crouched simultaneously.

“Two!”

Wang Fengwan and Yang Ying crouched.

“One!”

Zhu Yin crouched.

“Three!”

Zhu Yin and Yang Ying crouched swiftly.

When the director called “three,” all three players were supposed to crouch, but Wang Fengwan hesitated.

She stood there, dumbfounded.

“Wang Jie, crouch! Hurry up and crouch!” Ren Xing almost roared in panic.

“Huh?” Wang Fengwan looked at everyone with a dazed expression.

“Bang!” The chair shot out.

“Ah!” Ren Xing screamed and splashed into the water.

“Hehehe!”

“Goose, goose, goose!”

“Humph, ha ha!”

Laughter broke out, mixing pig-like squeals with goose calls.

Ren Xing surfaced and said, “Wang Jie, what exactly were you thinking?”

“Ha ha ha!”

“Hehehe!”

“Goose, goose, goose!”

Jiang Yun said, “I noticed too. Wang Fengwan was spacing out the whole time; no idea what was on her mind!”

Wang Fengwan shot him a reproachful glance. “You talk too much!”

“What? Not allowed to speak?” Jiang Yun teased.

“Not bothering with you anymore!”

“Alright, the Yellow Team has made the most mistakes. Let's swap in the substitute player!”

So, the Yellow Team sent Wei He to face the penalty, while Ren Xing rejoined the game.

For the Red Team, Chen Chi took the penalty, and Deng Xin joined the game.

For the Blue Team, Wang Bao faced the penalty, and Wang Lan joined the game.

“Honestly, sitting up there is nerve-wracking!” Wei He muttered.

“Wei He, you look so calm, I don’t believe you’re nervous at all,” Deng Xin teased.

“Hehe!” Wei He smiled.

“Ready, everyone, on your marks!”

“One!”

Ren Xing crouched quickly.

“Two!”

Deng Xin and Wang Lan crouched promptly.

“Two!”

Ren Xing and Deng Xin crouched again.

“Three!”

All three crouched simultaneously.

“One!”

Wang Lan crouched.

Five minutes passed with no mistakes.

The three on the flying chairs sighed with relief.

“Toot!” The director blew the whistle. “Everyone, this is getting dull. This round’s game is over!”

“Woohoo!” The crowd cheered. “Finally done.”

“Now, the Yellow Team made the most mistakes, followed by the Blue Team. The Red Team made the fewest errors!”

“So, once again, the Red Team wins this round!”

“Woohoo! Yeah!” Deng Xin and his teammates hugged each other.

“Now, let’s begin the second round of descriptions!” the director said. “Yellow Team goes first!”

Jiang Yun pondered silently, expression calm. Based on everyone’s earlier descriptions, he was fairly certain of the answer. Jiang Yun stepped forward first and said, “This thing, if you eat too much, it gets cloying.”

“Whew,” the others murmured.

“What kind of description is that?” Yang Ying said. “A lot of things fit that description!”

“Alright, then I’ll add one more clue,” Jiang Yun said. “This thing only exists in the North.”

Everyone paused; Jiang Yun’s description was quite precise.

“Okay, Jiang Yun’s finished describing. Now, others, take your turn!”

“This thing isn’t found only in the North; it’s also in the South, but rare,” Yang Ying offered.

Both Jiang Yun and Yang Ying’s clues were accurate, but some were still confused.

In the end, everyone but Wang Fengwan finished their descriptions.

“Now, decide who you want to verify,” the director said.

Deng Xin and his team deliberated. After a moment, Deng Xin said, “We choose to verify Yang Ying!”

“Huh? Why?” Yang Ying frowned.

“Are you sure?” the director asked.

“Definitely!”

“Yang Ying’s identity is…”

“Undercover!” The director held up a sign.

“Yeah!”

“Woohoo!”

The crowd erupted in cheers.

“See? I told you! Yang Ying is the undercover!” Jiang Yun joined in the celebration, though inside he was tense.

Jiang Yun kept a calm exterior but watched the others closely.

“Yang Ying, now you’re speechless, right?” Wang Fengwan said.

Yang Ying forced a smile. “Don’t be like that. I haven’t even started playing yet!”

“When Yang Ying lies, her face doesn’t even flush!” everyone teased.

The director raised a megaphone. “Now, time to vote!”

“I vote for Jiang Yun!” Wang Fengwan said.

“What? Why?” Jiang Yun put on an act, looking wronged.

“I vote for Jiang Yun too!” Wei He said.

“Good heavens, you’re all wrong, it’s not me!” Jiang Yun said. “Then I’ll vote for Zheng Kai!”

Zheng Kai replied, “Then I’ll vote for you!”

In the end, including votes from the previous round, Jiang Yun had four votes; Zheng Kai, four; Ren Xing, two; Deng Xin, two; Wei He, one; Li You, Zhu Yin, Wang Lan, and Wang Bao had zero.

“Next, we head to the next location for the next game: the acupressure board relay race!”

“Oh no, the little bamboo shoots!” everyone groaned.

Jiang Yun and the others first stopped at the showers, freshened up, changed into clean clothes, and then boarded their vehicles.

On the way, Jiang Yun sat in the middle seat.

To his left was Li Mengya; to his right, Wang Fengwan.

“I’ve been wanting to try the little bamboo shoots for a while!” Wang Fengwan said.

“Fengwan, you get way too into these games!” Li Mengya said.

Jiang Yun was speechless. The two chatted casually, completely ignoring his presence.

Twenty minutes later, the car stopped at Zhijiang Stadium.

Jiang Yun and the others got out and jogged, waving to the crowd.

At the stadium, the game setup was already complete.

“Everyone, this is the third challenge: the acupressure board relay. The team with the fastest time wins!”

“Now, let’s arrange the relay order!”

“Alright!” everyone agreed.

Jiang Yun and Wang Fengwan huddled quietly with two others.

“Ren Xing will crawl first; Teacher Wei He will kick the ball; Fengwan will use chopsticks to pick up ping-pong balls; I’ll run the last leg—fifty meters back and forth!”

“Okay!”

“Sounds good!”

“Let’s do it!”

The three nodded in agreement.

“Toot!” The director blew the whistle.

“Who’s going first?”

“We will!” Deng Xin’s Red Team raised their hands. “We came first in the previous two rounds; we’ll win this round too!”

“Woohoo! Big talk!” Jiang Yun taunted.

“Phew!” Deng Xin and his team flipped Jiang Yun the finger.
