Yang Ying quickly slipped into character: "You! You dare divorce me!"
Jiang Yun shook his head. Yang Ying's eyes were wide as saucers, making the scene awkward. Even he noticed it, so Liu Guoqiang surely did as well.
Deng Xin dropped to his knees with a thud, gritting his teeth as he uttered two words: "Father—I—"
"Sigh," Jiang Yun lamented inwardly. Was it really so hard to say 'Father'? Why couldn't he call out properly?
"Three years from now, I will personally go to Yunlan Sect and wipe away the shame of the Xiao family."
"Good, I'll be waiting!" Chen Chi waved his hand grandly. "Take your Qi Gathering Powder and leave!"
The three straightened themselves and stood side by side. "Director, we've finished our performance!"
Liu Guoqiang's face was expressionless as he waved his hand. "Next group!"
"Director, how did we do?" Yang Ying stepped forward.
"Wait for notification!"
"Well... alright..."
The next group acted out the Yunlan Sect battle. But lacking martial arts skills, their performance fell flat.
"Director, how did we do?"
"Wait for notification!"
"Well... alright!"
Two more groups auditioned in succession, but Liu Guoqiang remained impassive.
"Director, we—"
"Wait for notification!"
Once everyone had finished auditioning, Liu Guoqiang tapped his fingers on the table, muttering to himself, "Are actors these days really all like this?"
"Director, how about I give it a try?"
He looked up, surprised. "You? Jiang Yun?"
"What's the point of joining the crowd?" Liu Guoqiang chuckled.
"Director, since we're all just waiting, why not let me try? Watching others act makes me itch to perform!"
"Well... alright!"
Jiang Yun stood up, somehow finding a wooden plank.
He held it in his hand.
S-class Acting Experience Card, used immediately.
In an instant, Jiang Yun's expression turned icy, his sharp, chiseled features radiating a cold aura. His eyes were dark, like deep pools.
"Fight, Nalan Yanran!"
Jiang Yun swung the plank vigorously, his movements bold and agile. He leapt two meters into the air, striking down with force: "Nalan Yanran, it's been three years."
The wooden plank in his hands danced like a tiger, powerful and swift.
Liu Guoqiang's eyes lit up as he watched Jiang Yun's performance. At last, he knew what kind of show he should make.
In today's market flooded with pretty faces, dramas and films are monopolized by a handful, their stories all much the same.
So something new is needed—exciting fight scenes are just that novelty. "Battlehorse Firmament," as a fantasy novel, demands thrilling combat.
"Wow!"

The actors who hadn't left erupted in exclamations, all stunned by Jiang Yun.
He was so immersed in the role that, in that moment, Jiang Yun seemed to be Xiao Yan, and Xiao Yan was Jiang Yun.
Even outsiders could sense how deeply Jiang Yun was involved.
Liu Guoqiang nodded discreetly. "I forgot Jiang Yun knows martial arts. His acting is excellent!"
Jiang Yun stopped swinging the plank, holding it in one hand with the other behind his back.
He gave everyone a profile view, the lines of his face gentle.
"Clap, clap!"
Liu Guoqiang applauded. "Jiang Yun, your performance was wonderful! I really felt you were Xiao Yan. Especially your martial arts skills—that's a bonus."
Now, Liu Guoqiang knew exactly what kind of drama he wanted to make. Acting was secondary; thrilling fight scenes were paramount.
He set a clear direction for himself, deciding to use new actors.
Jiang Yun put down the plank. "Thank you, Director!"
"Alright." Liu Guoqiang nodded. "Everyone, you may go now. Wait for notification."
"What about me, Director? What about me?" Jiang Yun asked eagerly.
"As for you..." Liu Guoqiang pretended to ponder, then gave Jiang Yun a mysterious smile. "You, too—wait for notification."
"Damn!" Jiang Yun was speechless and annoyed. He'd used an S-class Acting Experience Card, yet he still had to wait for notification.
Probably no hope...
Jiang Yun returned to his hotel, booked a ticket, and prepared to fly back to Magic City.
"Ring ring!"
Jiang Yun answered the phone. "Hello? Who is this?"
"I'm Liu Guoqiang!" came the director's gloomy voice.
"What's up, Director?"
"Where are you now?" Liu Guoqiang roared.
"At the airport, why?"
"Come back immediately!"
"Why should I come back?" Jiang Yun asked, puzzled.
"Why? To sign the contract! What else!"
"Huh? Sign the contract?"
"Yes! Can't you understand?"
"Oh yeah!" Jiang Yun was elated. He'd already given up hope and put the whole thing out of his mind.
But, just when the woods seemed darkest, a bright clearing appeared.
"Hey! Are you boarding or not?"
Jiang Yun turned and smiled at the person, "I'm not flying!"
With that, he strode off.
The passenger was baffled—what did it matter to him if Jiang Yun wasn't flying? Truly perplexing.

Jiang Yun returned to the hotel. Liu Guoqiang's face was grim. "I took my eyes off you and you slipped away! Young people these days are so impatient—can't you wait a little longer?"
Jiang Yun just smiled.
He took the contract and scanned it carefully, line by line.
"Don't worry, I'm not cheating you!"
"Heh!" Jiang Yun smiled.
He reviewed every clause, and when he saw the pay, it was only three hundred thousand per episode.
He thought it over and let it go—after all, Liu Guoqiang planned to make over two hundred episodes.
Three hundred thousand per episode would add up to six million. Considering he's just a newcomer, it was fair.
Liu Guoqiang was looking out for him, and Jiang Yun was satisfied with the terms.
Jiang Yun signed the contract, and Liu Guoqiang breathed a sigh of relief—the weight lifted from his heart. When he decided to use new actors, he'd already taken the plunge.
"Filming starts in a week. I'll finalize the other roles!"
"Alright!" Jiang Yun nodded.
He boarded the plane back to Magic City. As for the casting of other roles, Jiang Yun didn't get involved; he trusted Liu Guoqiang's judgment.
Back at the office, Mao Yi rushed over at once.
Mao Yi burst into the office. "Teacher!"
"What's up?"
"Teacher, five days!"
"Five days what?"
"Teacher, my album sold a hundred thousand copies in five days!"
Jiang Yun smiled. "That's impressive!"
"Hehe! Teacher, it's all thanks to you!"
"No, it's your own hard work."
"Teacher, if you hadn't sent me to join 'Happy Camp,' my album wouldn't have sold so well!"
Jiang Yun grew serious. "Mao Yi!"
"Ah?"
"This is the result of your own efforts. As long as you work hard, the outcome won't be too bad!" Jiang Yun's expression was solemn as he spoke earnestly. "If you put your heart into creating good songs, fans will naturally support you."
"My two songs are just the icing on the cake."
Seeing Jiang Yun's sincerity, Mao Yi stopped smiling and grew serious too. "Teacher, I understand!"
Jiang Yun waved his hand, signaling Mao Yi to leave.
"Teacher, today's the broadcast day for 'Happy Camp.' Don't forget to watch!"
"Alright, I'll make time for it."
