143 1v3! One-turn summon of the ace monster!

"Duel!"

Mysterious Man: 4000 LP
Yusei Fudo: 4000 LP
Jack Atlas: 4000 LP
Crow Hogan: 4000 LP

"The first turn is mine! Draw!"

In a duel featuring multiple duelists against a single opponent, the right to go first almost always falls to the side with fewer players.

Following the mysterious blond-haired man's opening draw, he merely glanced at his starting hand of six cards through his black-and-white demon mask, then without a moment's hesitation, placed and inserted four of them into the monster and spell/trap zones of his Duel Runner.

"I set one monster, and then set three cards face-down. End of turn!"

Looking at the holographic projections of the cards appearing in front of and on either side of the mysterious man, Yusei and his two companions behind him narrowed their eyes slightly.

Four cards set right on the first turn... Is this person trying to keep us from figuring out his deck too early?

With that thought in mind, the turn passed to Yusei.

"My turn, draw!"

"Beep!"

As Yusei drew his card, the effect of the Field Spell "Speed World 2" activated, placing one "Speed Counter" on each of the four duelists' respective Speed Fields.

"I Special Summon the Level 1 Tuner monster 'Unknown Synchron' from my hand!"

On the field, as Yusei placed the card into his Duel Runner's monster zone, a gray-black large iron ball appeared, featuring two tentacles growing out of an eye-like lamp.

"Unknown Synchron can be Special Summoned from the hand when the opponent controls a monster and I control no monsters."

"Next, I activate the effect of the Level 5 Tuner monster 'Quickdraw Synchron' from my hand! By discarding a monster card from my hand, I Special Summon it to the field!"

As Yusei discarded his third monster, Quickdraw Synchron—holding a revolver and dressed as a Western cowboy—appeared beside Unknown Synchron.

Two white-haired, dandelion-like plant monsters suddenly materialized beside Quickdraw Synchron. That was the effect of the monster Yusei had sent to the Graveyard.

"The effect of Dandelion: When this card is sent to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon two 'Fluff Tokens' to my field."

With this, the materials required to summon his ace monster were complete!

"The Level 5 Tuner monster 'Quickdraw Synchron' undergoes Synchro Summoning with the two Level 1 monsters, 'Fluff Tokens'!"

Level 5 + Level 1 + Level 1 = Level 7

Quickdraw Synchron can only be used as a Synchro Material for a Synchro Monster that lists a "Synchron" monster as its tuner. Right before their eyes, at Yusei's declaration, a dial materialized in front of Quickdraw Synchron, displaying various images of all the "Synchron" tuner monsters owned by its master.

Spotting the image of the yellow robot "Junk Synchron," Quickdraw Synchron swiftly pulled the trigger of its gun. With a "bang," the bullet struck the image of Junk Synchron.

"Gathering cries will become the echoing arrows piercing the sky, becoming the shining path of light! Synchro Summon! Appear, Junk Archer!"

Replacing Junk Synchron, Quickdraw Synchron transformed into five glowing green "tuning rings" amidst the backdrop of the Synchro Summon, while the two dandelion tokens transformed into two sparkling "tuning stars."

Synchronized by Yusei Particles, an orange robotic warrior holding a filter-bow and arrow appeared on Yusei's field.

"The effect of Junk Archer activates! Once per turn, I can banish one monster on the opponent's field until the end of the turn!"

Since the mysterious man only had one face-down monster on his field, that was naturally the target to be banished. The face-down defense position monster was pierced by an arrow from Junk Archer and driven away into another dimension.

"Since you wanted to see our ace monster, I'll show it to you!"

With that, Yusei looked at the other tuner monster on his field.

"The Level 1 Tuner monster 'Unknown Synchron' undergoes Synchro Summoning with the Level 7 Synchro Monster 'Junk Archer'!"

Level 1 + Level 7 = Level 8

"Gathering prayers will become a new, shining star, transforming into the shining path of light! Synchro Summon! Take flight, Stardust Dragon!"

Yusei's ace monster, and one of the guardian dragons subordinate to the "Red Dragon," descended onto the battlefield, its white draconic body carrying the light of the stars!

"As expected of Yusei!"
"Summoning Stardust Dragon on the very first turn!"

Jack and Crow, riding alongside him, praised as they watched Stardust Dragon soaring directly above Yusei's head.

"Neither player can attack on the first turn. Therefore, I set one card face-down and end my turn."

As Yusei declared the end of his turn, the face-down monster that had been banished by Junk Archer's effect returned to the mysterious man's field in its original form.

"My turn, draw!"

The turn returned to the mysterious man once again. However, after drawing his card, he simply ended his turn without doing a single thing.

Although it was unclear what the opponent was up to, the turn now belonged to Jack. Furthermore, because the first turn had already passed, Jack could launch attacks as long as he summoned a monster!

"Hmph! Daring to provoke us! I'll show you just how powerful my, Jack Atlas's, strength truly is!"

"I Special Summon the Level 1 Tuner monster 'Synchro Clone Resonator' from my hand!"

Amidst Jack's cold snort, Clone Resonator appeared, featuring gold-and-green metallic ornamentation on its head and holding a tuning fork and a striker.

"Synchro Clone Resonator can be Special Summoned from the hand when a Synchro Monster is present on the field!"

"Next, I Special Summon the Level 3 Tuner monster 'Create Resonator' from my hand!"

Jack's second Resonator monster appeared, wearing a light blue-winged, blue-leafed fan behind its head and holding a tuning fork and striker.

"When a Synchro Monster of Level 8 or higher is face-up on my field, it can be Special Summoned from the hand!"

Jack, Crow, and Yusei were on the same team. Therefore, sharing the field meant that Yusei's Stardust Dragon effectively counted as Jack's Stardust Dragon as well.

"Then, I Tribute 'Synchro Clone Resonator' to Tribute Summon 'Big Stone Man'!"

Clone Resonator was offered as a Tributed sacrifice, and a monster completely formed of massive gray stones appeared on Jack's field.

"Those who dare provoke us! Witness it for yourselves! The soul of me, Jack Atlas!"

"The Level 3 Tuner monster 'Create Resonator' undergoes Synchro Summoning with the Level 5 monster 'Big Stone Man'!"

Level 3 + Level 5 = Level 8

"The ruler's heartbeat now falls into formation here! Behold the power that shakes heaven and earth! Synchro Summon! My very soul—"
