Synchro Summoning with the Power of NTR

"My turn, draw! ...Normally that would be the case, but due to the effect of the Field Spell 'Malefic World', instead of conducting my normal draw during each turn, I can choose any card with 'Malefic' in its name from my deck and add it to my hand."

It was Paradox's turn. Instead of drawing the top card of his deck, an intelligent pusher built into his Duel Disk ejected a card from the middle layer of his deck into his hand.

"Blue-Eyes White Dragon, hailed as the strongest Level 8 Normal Monster, a Dragon-type monster with the power to destroy all things!"

Hearing Paradox bring up Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon, everyone's eyes narrowed slightly, a bad premonition welling up inside them. Especially for Kaiba, the owner of the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon," the flames of anger in his heart burned even higher!

"And when three such Blue-Eyes White Dragons undergo fusion, what is born from it is the ultimate evolutionary dragon!"

"So, what are you trying to say?"

Vaguely guessing what Paradox was about to do, Yugi chose to ask a question anyway, buying the CEO behind him a little buffer time.

Looking down condescendingly at Kaiba behind Yugi, the corners of Paradox's mouth, hidden beneath his mask, curled upward.

"What am I going to do? Naturally, this—"

"I send the Fusion Monster 'Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon' from my Extra Deck to the Graveyard! Now! Come forth! The ultimate evolutionary dragon born from the world of sin—Malefic Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!!"

As the "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" was discarded from Paradox's Extra Deck into the Graveyard, a three-headed giant dragon resembling the previously seen "Malefic Cyber End Dragon" soared upward from the depths of darkness onto the field.

It had jet-black wings, a right dragon head that was black on the right and silvery-white on the left, a left dragon head that was black on the left and silvery-white on the right, and a center head where black and silvery-white intermingled.

Overall, it bore seventy percent of the silhouette of Kaiba's ace monster, "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon." However, compared to the entirely flesh-and-blood aesthetic of the original Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, the current "Malefic Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" possessed scales with layered textures, and its overall style leaned toward a cross-era sci-fi aesthetic.

"Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon... A brand-new evolution of the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon..."

While harboring anger in his heart, Kaiba did not forget to pay attention to the fusion monster Paradox had discarded into the Graveyard—its name differed by only a single character from his own ace monster.

*Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is the evolved form of the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon! Whether it's the theatrical version's Neo Ultimate from The Dark Side of Dimensions or the post-OCG Neo Ultimate, both share similar nature effects—the ability to make up to three attacks during the Battle Phase per turn through its own effect!*

Recalling the information on the effects of both the movie version and the OCG version of Neo Ultimate in his memories, Yugi silently guessed the effect of this new "Malefic" monster that Paradox had created in this world.

The earlier "Malefic Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon" had well verified that Yugi's analytical guesses were feasible. Thus, among the effects carried by the present Malefic Neo Ultimate, one of them must definitely be related to "multi-segment attacks"!

It was just uncertain which version of Neo Ultimate this Malefic Neo Ultimate had been adapted from.

The movie version of Neo Ultimate allowed three attacks during the Battle Phase—which could only be performed once per duel—as long as "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" was present in the Extra Deck. However, the drawback of this version was that at the end of the damage step in which this effect was used, it would destroy itself and be sent to the Graveyard.

As for the OCG version of Neo Ultimate, performing "three attacks" during the Battle Phase was not as convenient as in the movie. First, the OCG Neo Ultimate had to be Fusion Summoned onto the field. Second, at the moment after making its normal attack and right at the end of the Damage Step, if there were no face-up cards on the player's field other than the OCG Neo Ultimate itself, the effect could be activated to choose whether or not to perform "three attacks." Then, the player had to have two or more "Blue-Eyes" Fusion Monsters in their Extra Deck, discarding one "Blue-Eyes" Fusion Monster for each additional attack opportunity. Finally, such attack opportunities could only be granted twice per turn—meaning a true "three attacks," not a single strike more!

The restrictions were numerous. But correspondingly, it lacked the drawback of the movie version, where it would destroy itself and be sent to the Graveyard after using the triple-attack effect.

While Yugi was deep in thought, analyzing and guessing the effect of "Malefic Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon," Paradox summoned a new monster onto the field:

"I summon 'Malefic Paradox Gear' in Attack Position!"

Called back to his senses by the monster name called out by Paradox, Yugi saw a small blue mechanical monster entirely composed of gears appear beside Malefic Neo Ultimate.

*Not only the original movie's Malefic cards, but after adding a few self-created Malefic monsters, are the Malefic monsters from the past life's OCG arriving now as well...*

A single Paradox Gear made Yugi realize that the Paradox of this world wielded a "Malefic" deck entirely composed of three versions: "The Movie Version," "The Self-Created Version," and "The OCG Version."

"When a Field Spell is face-up on the field, I Tribute this Paradox Gear itself to activate its effect! I Special Summon another gear from my deck—Malefic Parallel Gear!"

Another gear monster, a mechanical beast composed of black and yellowish-brown gears.

"Next, I add 'Malefic Stardust Dragon' from my deck to my hand!"

After Special Summoning Parallel Gear, he could also choose whether to add a "Malefic" monster other than Paradox Gear from his deck to his hand.

Hearing the words "Stardust Dragon," it was Yusei's turn to be angered. Under his furious gaze, Paradox sent the "Stardust Dragon" usurped from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard without a moment's pause, slamming the "Malefic Stardust Dragon" from his hand onto his Duel Disk.

"I send the Synchro Monster 'Stardust Dragon' from my Extra Deck to the Graveyard! Fly forth! Transform into the path leading to the world of sin—Malefic Stardust Dragon!"

The pristine Stardust Dragon appeared on the field. Before she could call out for help to her true master Yusei, a massive amount of black mist emerged on the field, condensing into modular armor pieces that rushed toward Stardust Dragon, slamming into her body and outfitting her with a pieced-together suit of black armor.

Wings, face, left chest, waist, and both knees—she looked completely broken-in and subjugated!

"You turned my Stardust Dragon into this... Bastard!!"

Yusei, who was always polite and well-mannered, could no longer hold back and swore, glaring at the broken-in Stardust Dragon.

"Hmph!"

Seeing Yusei fly into a rage and curse, Paradox let out a triumphant scoff from beneath his mask.

"Yusei! Keep watching! See how I utilize the power of your monster!"

With that, Paradox waved his right hand, causing the Parallel Gear and Malefic Stardust Dragon on his field to rise into the air together.

"The Level 2 Tuner monster 'Malefic Parallel Gear' tunes with the Level 8 monster 'Malefic Stardust Dragon'!"

"Nani! Synchro Summon?"

Hearing the word "Synchro," Yusei instinctively froze in shock, but he quickly snapped out of his senses. Paradox had mentioned earlier that he came from a "ruined future world"—meaning the opponent hailed from an era far more distant than his own! Therefore, performing a Synchro Summon right now was nothing to be surprised about.

While Yusei had figured it out, Yugi, Kaiba, and Judai around him were completely dumbfounded.

Synchro... Summon? What was that? It sounded like an entirely new summoning method, different from the existing "Tribute Summon," "Ritual Summon," and "Fusion Summon"... Or so it seemed?

"Darkness born from the cracks of dimensions, raise the curtain of destruction upon a stage that transcends time and space! Synchro Summon! Malefic Paradox Dragon!!"
